I'm sure the next DC will bring you No. 2 or No. 1.

You aren't bashing us, are you? I mean, you guys ARE getting our coordinator. We both win.

He is probably third behind Pelini and Muschamp. Pelini won't be a DC for much longer so I guess Tenuta moves up a notch.

Seeing how Jimbo's offense changed in 05, how Bo's defense steadly became increasingly more conservative and how Crowton's offense was severely less aggressive this year than last...it worries me that Tenuta would (in the event he is chosen) be likewise limited.

Just hope he comes, because the worst-case scenario is Bradley Dale Crappunt Peveto as DC.

ESPN just said Edsell of UCONN is staying put, not goping to GT. I was hoping they would hire him to free up Tenuta. Right now, he remains the interim coach.

I hope the pelini bashers aren't the same guys promoting this guy. Pelini can't coach the sec?....this guy played one SEC team and gave up 31 in a loss. His statistics look pretty good until you look at who they played. I guess they did shut down tradition-rich Notre Dame...Tongue in cheek there. I'd like to see his stats playing SEC whole season. Don't make decisions based solely on stats. Get back in the kitchen before your husbands come home and find you on their keyboards.

Seven seconds man...its forth and then and he had freaking seven seconds. Blitz is not a dirty word brother. You give whoever the QB is at OK 7 seconds and see what happens. I am sure Big Tom Osborn will tell him that is not BIG RED BALL, and you will be fine.

Georgia Tech (7-5) has had an overall disappointing season, but Tenuta's defense leads the nation in sacks and ranks 12th against the run and in total yards allowed.

QB Sacks 1st
Def Run 12th
Tot Def 12th

Not to impressive on the sacks with the other numbers. Including wins/losses. But, his name is thrown around a lot. I say he probably stays on as GT coach.

I think GT is losing due to lack of offense. Imagine what Tenuta could do with our talent.

gotta look at what he's working with...look at the talent he'd inherit at lsu...i don't think he'd be giving up 30 to 40 pts a game with lsu's talent

Tenuta is the real deal. I sent a LB to Ga. Tech and another one of ours committed in October. They love him. They describe him as intense, yet cerebral - a very good game day tactician.

You look like a good person to ask: What kind of D does he run? 1-gap/2 gap, typically man/zone, bump-and run when in man-man, etc. Is he someone who will be innovative enough to figure out a way to defend the spread-options that are sprouting up everywhere? Thanks.
