We just went two weekends ago with Bow Deadly Charters for a buddies bachelor trip. They're about 10 miles north of port sulphur. They had a really nice camp to stay at and they put us on some fish. We ended up shooting 5 big gator gar and 20 redfish on our boat with 5 of us. The captain and mate that we had on our boat were both real friendly guys.
They cleaned the redfish for us on the half shell, but we had to bring our own cooler to bring the gar home in and clean them ourselves.
Everybody else is right about aiming low, but after a few shots you'll get a feel for where you're hitting and be able to adjust.
