I've been many times with Marsh Masters out of Leeville. I've had awesome trips where all boats limit out and shoot plenty of sheaphead as well. However, I have had some not so great trips. Its part of the sport.

I went with Bowfishing Unlimited about a month ago. They all have airboats (which is a must IMO if you are paying a charter), and are generally good guys. We had a good time with our guide until the weather kicked up and we had to head in about 3 hours early.

If you are a bowhunter try to forget everything you know about shooting a bow for a night and listen to what the guides tell you. They will coach you as the night goes on as well and let you know if you are shooting high or low.

Slightly off topic, but my 12 year daughter has just gotten into shooting. She mentioned wanting to do bowfishing. What poundage range are you shooting when bowfishing? She is currently shooting at 30. Trying to get her to 40 by deer season.
