I occasionally get sleep paralysis with night terrors which have been happening to me for about 25 yrs. When it first happened, it scared the crap out of me. I would become physically paralyzed in bed with the presence of other human life forms that appeared demonic inside my bedroom. Through research, I now have a better understanding of this phenomenon, and I am no longer afraid of the experience.

My understanding of what happens is that we become aware while our body is still asleep, it's the state between sleep and wakefulness. We can see into a different dimension around us, hence the odd visions of spirits and demons. This experience is also the transition phase into Astral Projection, which is an out-of-body experience that occurs during sleep and is where our astral body/spirit can leave our physical body and go any place we desire.

My belief is that the entities we see and what they do are meant to frighten or distract us out of this transition state. They are there to prevent us from discovering and achieving the wonders and experience of Astral Travel. Since they are in a different dimension, they can only spook us and never cause physical harm.
