My wife and I just flew into Newark and took subway into NYC and stayed around 44th and 6th. I took a black car service back to the airport due to limited time. LGA is a bit more convenient to your area. Can't comment on Orbitz/Expedia.

Which car service did you use? My wife used Dial7 in January and had a bad experience (driver was late, bad english, shitty car, etc).
