Be that as it may, pretty much every source in attendance when Patterson and Franks were both on campus said Franks outperformed him hands down. I think that is why we stuck with him, and the rest is history.

The fact that Scott will hopefully not have to play for at least 2 years is awesome. I honestly think he will be a formidable QB when his time comes. Smart kid, super athletic, and truly wanted to be a Tiger and get the ball to his playmakers. His video after he committed made me really like him; I've never seen a kid sign with a major school and just gush about all the other players that will be around him. I don't think he will have the curve to overcome that Harris has struggled with trying to do everything himself.

So yeah, it sucks to miss on a kid that was committed for years, especially a 5 star, but at the end of the day, I don't think we are in any worse of a situation without him.
