I think it's kind of like the snowball effect. Something starts small then gains momentum until it's out of control. What was the original snowball? I'm not sure who, but a guy like flacco is a good example. He's got all the physical tools and was coached up to be a star. Now everyone wants these diamond in the rough type of players. They aren't even really viewed as projects by most, instead they are 5 stars. Everyone wants the next big developer. The problem is for every flacco, there's 1000 duds.
