Sometimes it's straight up gangsta tho, right?

I get it, but I hate the idea of death.

So unfair to be self-conscious and realize it will happen to everyone you know...and you...and yet it is beautiful in that sense too. It drives us.

Death, what are you?

It's just part of life. Acceptance to that is the key.

You wouldn't want to live to 250. Everybody you know would die. And at 150, you can't make new friends cause you'll look to scary.

There is only power in Life, so there can be no power in Death. Our entertainments here are not inherently bad, but when we try to cling to these transient things, we learn to mourn what is lost and fear what might be lost. We mistake these passing amusements for something more real than they are, and our imagination begins to give Death a power it does not have.

This makes sense in our own observations. Heroes, almost by definition, seem more full of courage and life itself than most of us. Such people, who experience life more fully (and so would seem to have more to lose), ironically seem to fear death less than cowards and timid people who do not experience the full power of life. To me, this suggests that heroic people, in experiencing the power of life more fully, also recognize at some level that Death is a sort of powerless illusion, just a phase of sorts.
