Sturgill was featured on NPR this morning in a 5 minute piece. LINK

I saw him last night. He did all of the new album first, then played most of Metamodern backwards (song order), then I think played most of High Top. He played for about 2 hours straight, which surprised me because he said he had some terrible allergies or a cold, and kept saying how bad he sounded. He honestly sounded really good, but you could tell something was a little off. Had some incredibly long jam at the end. The brass added a great deal to the show. I definitely recommend going to see him if you get the chance.
