What we know at this moment fair to Grayson or not is we traded starters to acquire the pick to stash him on the bench.
Due diligence or not "if" we drafted another QB in the 1st 3 rounds a year later that would be blatant incompetence frick negligence.
His short and long term goals involve supplanting our HOF QB. So he is either a detriment to our current direction as a team with limited options in acquiring talent or he is a wasted pick altogether due to the pending Drew extension that will force him into FA to pursue a starting job elsewhere.
The pick will never be validated especially after Luke's performance on the road against the NFC champs and MVP of 2015 unless Grayson becomes the heir to Drew.
