LOL,I knew I'd get one of these

As you should.

Yes it is.It may have been a better fit for you but for fielding a one or two hopper and then using a swipe tag which can only be done with one hand BTW,it is far from efficient.

No it isn't more difficult when you play catcher and that's what you're used to day in and day out. And you could and should swipe with two hands (one over the ball) when given that opportunity. Obviously on a bang-bang play this isn't applicable.

To think that you would have time to allow the first baseman to run to you, throw down your glove, and replace it with theirs, while simultaneously directing your infielders for a relay and watching the ball, is frickin ridiculous. Judging by your upvote/downvote ratio, and the other comments in this thread, no one agrees with you.

OMG!What to do!Not sure if I'll ever post again!

As I said NUMEROUS times on this post it depends on many varibles including time frame.

Most if not all of scenarios would involve a relatively high pop up to the outfield and a runner tagging on 3rd.

So yea,a 1st baseman would have time to run home (more than likely playing up anyway with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs)Flipping a glove off and putting another on can be done in milliseconds.

Once again,MLB catchers constantly botch short and middle hops and if you're telling me a catchers mitt is
more efficiant than a 1st basemam's glove at fielding these throws than it's not really worth pursuing this discussion.
