I didn't hear them because they didn't say anything. They need to be excited in an exciting moment of excitement.

Were you watching the UNC feed?

Either way, not saying anything is normally better. Talking can ruin the moment. Just let it play out.

Not necessarily. Sometimes not having the announcers say anything and just letting people view the moment is a viable option.

Many of the more experienced sports announcers like to stay silent in big moments like that & let the crowd's noise & reactions speak for themselves. At that point in time, how the announcers were reacting was the last thing I was focusing on. Good Lord.
