I did a Holland America about five years ago and really enjoyed it. It was a one week (Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan) out of Seattle. Only downside is that it felt like almost three whole days were at sea, but one of those was through Glacier Bay, I think. There was a very brief stop in Victoria, BC on the way back, but barely enough time to do anything.

Only cruise ive been on worth the money, get a balcony. We saw hundreds of whales while on our trip. We also took a float plane out and fly fished the salmon run. We had bears and eagles all around us. Just do it!

We did a very similar trip out of Seattle last summer. I wish we could have spent a little more time in BC though.
