It's like asking if Brawlhalla is better than SSB4.
Hyrule Warriors is not a knockoff of a Zelda adventure game. It is a hack n slash that uses Zelda characters and settings. It's not intended or presented as being in the same canon or genre as the mainline Zelda games.
It's like comparing Mario Party - 3rd party developed and licensed, uses Mario characters and settings... to Super Mario 64.
And Mario Party is pretty fun. Hyrule Warriors is pretty fun too as long as you know what you're getting and aren't expecting a 'real' Zelda game in the main series
