I get almost 5 weeks of paid vacation.

I take at least 5 week of UNPAID vacation every year. Because I own the company and I don't pay myself if I don't work. I'd rather have the time than the money. Others would rather have the money. Free country. No right way, just personal preference.

With paid holidays and vacation, I get 29 days off, not to mention I'm off every Friday
