WE ARE THE LSU TIGERS!!!!!!

Excuse the lenght of this post, but maybe this needs to be said.
It's natural that a great many of us are angered, aggravated, and tired of the timing of these most recent coaching change events; even to the point of feeling like LSU has become coaching "spring board". That said, the positives of the LSU football program, clearly outweigh any negatives that can be raised.
Many individuals have commented that Miles and others have simply used our program to try to "improve" their resume and "stroke their eqo's" in order to leave for a better job. These guys are not any different than any other individual in the workplace who is consistently trying to improve his or her professional "steed". That's what working hard and continuing to educate one's self is all about isn't it?
I appreciate the efforts that Miles and staff have put in, and the record which he has led the team to over the last several seasons. Were it not for the one "dream job" Miles has always wanted, he would be going nowhere. Put any of us in the same situation, and I doubt that we would do anything any differently than Les?
But, for the moment, PUT ALL OF THAT ASIDE! It says a lot for our program that we will be sending TWO coaches, not one, on their way to lead not one, but two of the nation's once, most promient programs. Throw in Nick, and we have not one, not two, but three former LSU coaches leading three of the Top 10 all time programs. Can you imagine that happeing in previous decades? And tell me of another college program that can boast of that feat---all the while CONTINUING TO PLAY FOR NATIONAL AND CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS consistently. That alone should tell you what LSU's football program has become.
Let's not focus on the negative, but the real positive in all of this---WE HAVE ARRIVED AND WE ARE HERE TO BE FOREVER RECKOWNED WITH.
Don't be sad, mad, or frutrated; BE PROUD of who LSU now is, and what the Tigers have become. I have no doubt whatsoever, and neither should you, that we will get a great new head coach, whoever it may be, and we won't "miss a beat"! We simply have too much to offer as we all know: Facilities, tradition, a talent laden "stable of players", a strong base of financhial support, a wealth of local high school talent, not to mention THE GREATEST COLLEGE FANS IN THE NATION, who cheer in "hand's down" THE greatest football stadium in the world TIGER STADIUM. There is nothing any more any new coach could ask for to build a great staff and continue the path of success that we are now on consistenlty.
So relax, and let's set aside our coaching "frustrations" until tomorrow and go out and support the BEST college football progam in the country, as it heads out this afternoon TO win the MOST COVETED conference championship in the Nation---THE SEC!
As the famous phrase says: "Together we stand" as the Tiget Nation, "divided we fall" as all of the other college program pretenders have! Let's lock arms and show the team, the Volunteers, the conference, tne next "Head Coach" and the Nation what being a TIGER is all about!

Nice post, LSU is a powerhouse program now. Hopefully, we can keep that status for years to come.

pjtiger-
Honestly, when I saw the length of the post, I was tempted to pass. Until I saw it was you...I've enjoyed your input over the last few days.
As for your comments...SPOT ON!
Thanks for sharing!
People need to relax, look to the future, and move on! Get the feeling that half these people would drown in a bucket of water!

Well said my friend! I agree and the entire Tiger Nation must pull together. Their is nothing LSU can't accomplish if the fans, administration, and everyone stick together supporting LSU Football and all sports for the common goal of being the best program. We must strive to be "One" in "Academics and Athletics".
