Acomb Parish, a Baptist church in York, United Kingdom, were getting ready for their Easter festivities on Sunday by ordering four banners enscribed with the words "Christ is Risen" on them.

The church ended up with banners with the phrase "Chris is Risen" instead. Luckily, the printers discovered the error before delivering them to the parish.

Well, it's a print shop fail but that wouldn't be a good troll/clickbait headline.

How did this get prompt an article? It was a printing mishap. This happens often since most of those places are run by scrubs

More of a printer fail than a church fail.

Most items like this aren't printed without a proof. So more than likely the church sent the print shop a request for a banner saying "Chris is risen", then the print shop sent the proof of the banner with "Chris is risen" and the church approved it.

Stuff like this has happened at our shop. Sometimes you catch it before printing, sometimes not until after.

Even with the flaws, it's a better message than the muzzles offer.

One religion's God dies for you.

In the other, you die for God.
