re: Garage door opener problems

i had this happen a few years ago. I tried the sensors and it did not work. I called overhead door and their charge to come check it out was about the same as a new one from lowes. They said over the phone it was probably a bad control board which really could not be fixed and would have to be replaced with a new unit. So I bought and installed a new unit myself.
