I imagine a college coach prefers kids who think they can go pro. Not sure I'd want too many kids if any at all who when asked answer "I think I'll be ok playing at college maybe, but no way I'll ever play beyond college". I'd want a kid who says "i know I have a lot of work to do to get there but I know I can go pro with hard work and training"

If you think you can... You're pretty sure you will. Coming out of high school going into a D1 program - I would think every one of them at that point think they can and will go Pro. That's their dream after all.
