yes very little info on the 230. It is suoosedly the exact same layout as the sx210 stretched 2 feet. I was ready to order a 210 until this came out. im not liking the performance numbers of the 210 with any of the available engines but really like the boat otherwise

Anytime you feel unsafe in a 22', you'd feel unsafe in a 24'. The difference is that the 24' handles "unsafe" conditions much more comfortably. Specifically based on the two you mentioned, I'd go with the 220.
Somewhat unrelated, but I really hate boats with the little step down thing in the front. I think it's a total waste of space. I wish they'd all get rid of them.
