Got news for you man, getting drunk and doing lines isn't that bad. I've done way worse and not been remorseful. Quit worrying about shite and life will be a lot easier
Maybe not for you, Hammer. But I didn't like myself when I was doing that all the time. So I haven't been doing it at all (minus the drinking, I still drink)
Your version of right and wrong is different than mine.
Eta: and I know in hindsight it's not really that bad. But for me, right now it wasn't the right choice I should've made.

AA meetings are a good place to start. When I first started going it was court mandated but I continued to go after I wasn't required to attend. I felt so much better about my life and how blessed I was compared to a number of people I met in there.

I think it's time you start listening to your own advice and actually putting it into action. If you feel this remourseful about what you've done, and you continue to do it, it might be time for a change. Maybe stop hanging around those people that are enabling the problem. Maybe start listening to those who love you and want what's best for you. As someone already mentioned earlier, maybe going back to church and looking back to your faith. Don't dwell on the past. It's over and done with and nothing you can do will change it. It's time to move on from it. If you can't accept that, you won't ever be able to forgive yourself. Bottom line is, if you don't like something about yourself, but only do the minimum to change it, you're probably going to do it again. You have to WANT to change and be willing to make those changes and never look back. I'm sure you've heard that before. Just my 2 cents...

You haven't hit rock bottom, you'll do it again.

I'm mean what did you do spend like 4K on some blow? Or just get a little? If it's just a little forget about it and move on. If it's more than a one night thing and just had a good time then ask yourself why. Either way just move on. It's not too big of a deal. At least it wasn't heroin
