we will be relevant one day...I bet you people used to say this to Hawaii and Boise State and Louisville fans too. Thanks for the comment though.
Spurrier wasn't available though was he...and if he was, i bet you they'd have had him back, and I think spurrier would have probably had the same success that Meyer did. Also Meyer lost 3 games this year, which in your fantasy world is enough to fire a head coach...and please don't call me arrogant...SABAN won a BCS title and is the ONLY reason LSU is relevant today, so I think my point is pretty solid.

I agree, but LSU has always been a sleeping giant. Saban simply re-awakened that sleeping giant and put the program back on the map. LSU is in a talent-rich state with little competition for recruits in Louisiana.
