more wins

The team was a colossal trainwreck,
the team made the NCAA tournament last season, you lost Mickey and Martin, kept the rest, and added Victor and Blakeney, and "the best prospect in a generation". In college basketball, that should have been enough to at least stay even.

but wasn't Ben by far the bright spot?
No, in every BIG game we won, Quarterman seemed to mean more. Also in the Oklahoma loss.

Why are people blaming him?
Hype. Kid was supposed to be sensational. He wasn't, he put up a ton of meaningless stats but disappeared when the team absolutely needed a star to step up.

I really don't care if Simmons can score 40 pts on North Florida. I'd like to see 20 pts once against A&M (3 times), Kentucky (twice) or Oklahoma, before he's proclaimed The Greatest.
