LSU Basketball Luck Changing for the Good?

All season long we have struggled against average teams because of bad timing, missed free throws, etc...
But we have also beaten some of the better teams in the SEC and nearly upset the #1 Oklahoma Sooners in a game we should have won.
But with UT upsetting Vandy, LSU gets a chance to face an opponent that embarrassed us just a few weeks ago. Even as a 12th seed, a win looks good.
If Texas A&M wins, LSU takes care of business, UK wins, and USCe wins, we have a chance to beat the #1 and either the #2 or #3.
Winning out secures us a locked NCAA Tourney spot but the seed # is not guaranteed. We could end up a 8th or 9th seed, maybe even a 6th seed, but we need to win the tourney and hope to face UK and A&M along the way. You have to beat the best to get respect again.

LSU's "at large" chances have sailed. They need to win the tournament. Even if they do, they aren't getting a #6 seed. The best they could probably hope for would be somewhere in the 10-12 range.
That said, I want LSU to have the "easiest" path to the championship. No one asks how you won the conf. tournament, they just stick you in the NCAAT.
The time to worry about "good wins" and "bad losses" was 3-4 weeks ago. Now it is win or go home

Too bad this team doesn't care that UT embarrassed us. Also, let's not forget we played Auburn last year in an almost identical situation and shite the bed. We're the 4-seed and UT is 12 and we're only favored by 5...we ain't winning this shite.
And with this loss, the NIT is out as well...which is a good thing because we'd lose by 30+ in Provo or Washington
