It does.. You need to buy the iridium rod. And the trap bobber tackle.. knee you get fishing level up around 8-9 it's very easy. Each fish you catch gives you xp

My girlfriend bought it two weeks ago. She plays it a few hours every day. Loves it.
Which is great for me, because she can't get mad at me for playing Battlefield or the Witcher while she's playing Stardew Valley
