What size jar of salsa? I'm going to give that a go this week. How does it not dry out?

The average store brand/On the Border/etc. I believe it is 16oz.
If you Google "crock pot salsa chicken", there seem to be a few similar recipes

I can't think of much I've cooked in the crock pot
I don't use it for a big variety of things either. A lot of people seem to do red beans, but I do not care for it.
For the people who do it (I saw someone post in this thread), boil your beans for 10 minutes first. You poison your kidney by putting raw beans into the pot.

Red kidney beans contain high levels of a toxin that occurs naturally in beans, Phytohaemagglutinin (also known as Kidney Bean Lectin.) If raw or undercooked red kidney beans are eaten…well, bad things happen. Let’s just say you’ll be getting to know the pattern of tiles in your bathroom very well.
