You think I can do butter and hot sauce since that is all that is in homemade buffalo sauce?

Yep. I've done it with both. I'm more of a thigh person, but this is one of the only recipes I'm okay with using breasts to make.
Chicken curry in the crock pot is really good too. I try to stay away from the processed jarred/bagged "simmering sauces", but I'd be lying if I said I hadn't used them before. The Stonewall Kitchen brand of simmering sauces are very good.

You probably could. I have made my own buffalo sauce and poured in and it was legit but bottled is quick and easy. I honestly like the BBQ shredded chicken better. Sometimes I'll add brown sugar, lee & perins and some garlic to the chicken before I pour in the Stub's.
