If we walk into a random city in some town not in the sec area or the big 10 area and just look around, what are the odds that someone is wearing a michigan sweatshirt.. fairly good.

Do you think it has anything to do with the mass exodus from northern born folks to the west, south, and other areas because it just flat out sucks to live up there? People are fleeing Michigan faster than Chernobyl residents.

If we walk in to a sports bar in a random city far away and start asking if people know michigan's fight song I bet a large majority of sports fans know it..

it doesnt have anything to do with who was better in the last 5 years.

uh, yes it does.

Michigan is a name

...a name, and that's about it these days.

but LSU is not Michigan..

Care to compare recent history, or are you going to live in the past as the rest of the big 10 fans do. You can't recruit the talent up there anymore, and Miles would be a FOOL to leave LSU. If he does leave, LSU will continue to roll on with a deep cupboard regardless of coach. Miles will be stuck with less talent in a less competitive conference. Read and weep big tenner.

How about I temp UM to compare ALL TIME players out of the state of Louisiana vs the state of Michigan anyone want to get bulldozed by talent and that is what Louisiana offers to a coach coming to LSU. Michigan offers past LSU offers talent and history in the making. Miles telling the players he is leaving will cause them to put it ALL on the line Saturday.
