So you think JJ has done an excellent job at recruiting. That's fine, he still can't coach them. So what's the point? When you don't win, those recruits will look elsewhere, then we are stuck with a shite recruiter and coach.

Correct. He is a bad coach.
I'm not sure you even know what point you're trying to make. My only point is that Hornsby and Patterson objectively do not suck.
