Yeah I like Hoosiers. Maybe it doesn't age Bc it's an 80s movie but set in the 1950s (I think).

Yeah, it's not really an "80's movie" - just a great movie. So that was a cheat.

I think the better question is what movies can't escape their 80's-ness?

Cocktail, Footloose, 9 to 5, Valley Girl, Bright Lights, Big City, Gung Ho, Less Than Zero, The Sure Thing, Sex Lies and Videotape, Mr. Mom and Heathers come to mind.
