Toothpaste works okay but in my experience they don't stay clear for long. Toothpaste has very small abrasive particles, it's how it can clean your teeth..or your headlights

I see an infomercial all the time about headlight cleaner. He just wipes them once and bam, crystal clear. Gotta be legit

Yes, with a wet rag. You have to scrub but it works. I used it on my sons car about 6 months ago and it still looks good.
