Would you wager on how your death comes around?

Do you think insurance companies would ever chance their life insurance policies to match the Vegas? The lady dying in the elevator got me thinking about what type of odds that would pay.
15-1 old age
30-1 car crash
20-1 cancer
75-1 murder
1000-1 starvation in an elevator
Of course you take out policies in which you (or family) would get the best chance of a payout. You either hit it or lose (twice)
I don't really see the downside for the insurance companies. Essentially the odds should be in their favor

Nothing about heart disease? That's how I'm gonna go.

Natural causes the day after turning 100 would be pretty cool with me

No, for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning... Mark 13:25

I have asthma and copd if I had to make a guess that would be it.

I figured I'd be gone by now. Everyone else did too, so I'm living on borrowed time. I would've said 95% probability doing something drunk and stupid or in a high speed wreck. Now, my doctor says I'm gonna have a heart attack, so it's a crapshoot. There are so many opportunities for me to die, IDGAF about preventing it. I'm not gonna wager anything

Car crash. I drive about 30,000 miles a year so my odds of being in a wreck at high speeds are exponentially higher than the average person.
After that it's even odds on heart or cancer. Will be expecting that at 80 I'll be into extra innings and all's good and I'll just take it as I get it after that and be happy with it.

Well I wouldn't be able to collect on it
And nobody dies of "old age"

I'd take 20-1 on cancer all day, errrry day.

You should get better odds on that.

i feel like someone has a gambling problem in here....

Heart attack or liver failure. The odds for me have to favor one of those in a big way.

Somewhere over 68 (where I am now) shot by a jealous husband who will be in his 20s-30s max.

I have recurring dreams that I die in a car crash. It feels like just a matter of time really
