Park at riverwalk and eat at mike Anderson's in food court. There is a play area next to food court too.

Happy hour at Domenica. My kids love the place and the good is great. Half price pizza and drinks are hard to beat.
ETA: added plus - take the streetcar with your kids if you don't want to walk from the river up canal. Great time all around.
