To follow up on Riddick and his struggles early in his career..... While he was an NBA level sharpshooter at Duke, he had holes in his overall offensive game. His handles and dribble drive was weak and he had poor footwork on ball. He couldn't separate from any athletic defender and didn't shoot well off balance. He lacked craftiness overall.

All the flaws mentioned were not present with a guy like McCollum. I feel Hield will be more McCollum than he will be Riddick. Hield will never have any issues getting separation in the league with his elite footwork and super quick release. Put in his work ethic and I think he's one of the safest pick in the draft. His ceiling however is a different story.
