7WT,
Although I don't have a KT P11, frequently cc a KT PF9. I shot a P11 before buying my PF9, but felt the latter generally had a better trigger and handled better for me. KT's are easy to criticize and some of it's well deserved, but some is not. I think the main problem w/ KT is spotty quality control. Most seem to perform well, but periodically one performs poorly, giving the entire product line a bad reputation.

As you've experienced, KT's don't get much love on the OB, but my personal experience has been favorable w/ both my PF9 and my P3-AT. I've run hundreds of rounds through both of mine w/o problems. KT's are not a service gun and I realize that. Before shooting mine, I did the "fluff and buff" routine found on the Kel Tec Owner's Group Forums.. You'll find it a fair minded website w/ lots of useful info.

As far as holsters, when carrying my PF9 IWB, I use the "Southern Sidekick" from R Grizzle Leather. . It's a nice holster, but after having used a "Tuck Clip" holster from Sideguard Holsters (for a Kahr CW45), I like the prefer the latter. I like the offset clip used in the "Tuck Clip". Nowadays I mostly carry my PF9 in the front pocket w/ a Bear Creek rear pocket holster.. W/ it's thicker grip the P11 may not pocket carry as well in some pants as the PF9.
