Damn. My response took so long to type bc i kept getting interrupted, that i missed a lot of that back and forth. The people making all the negative comments may have had one that was left in its kennel for 8 hours a day, every day. If you do that, your Vizsla may act fricking crazy. One of my parents' Vizslas was on the crazy side, which i think is mainly bc my psycho sister had her first and treated her like shite. She ended up being the best dog you could ask for after my parents took her, though.

I know several other Vizsla owners, and none of their dogs are batshit crazy. If you want something to sit on its arse all day and show minimal signs of life, a Vizsla is probably not for you.

Most dog behavioral issues are a result of how the owner raised them.

Dont let that bullshite get you down OP. Your new pup will be awesome.
