I'm not a doctor, but I'd start at the fact that one was in zero gravity for 340 days and the other was living on Earth. I'd find it hard to believe that his twin on Earth was subjected to the same diet as his astronaut brother was, but still.

Scott's brother Mark is a retired astronaut. NASA researchers are doing extensive studies on them both to see the effects of long duration space travel.
