I'd like to be the first to wish him a safe journey home today.
Guy has spent more time in space than any American. Today Show just said in his 340 day stint, he has witnessed 11,000 sunsets. Think about that for a minute. Imagine that.
Also noteworthy, he has an identical twin, so the medical discoveries on extended space travel are going to be pretty substantial.
And not to forget a bunch of the cool pictures and shite he sent back to Earth.

Today Show can't math or logic.
With a 90 minute orbit, that's 16 orbits per day, so 16 sunsets. Times 340 days is only over 5000 sunsets.
Plus, the dude sleeps.

If it weren't for the effects of microgravity, it would be really cool to see how much less he has aged due to the time travel.

Well, it's not like he can leave anytime he wants to.
Wonder how the Walowitz zero gravity waste disposal system treated him in his 340 days.

Do astronauts stay clean using wipes?

I was at an HSE conference over the summer and he was the keynote speaker. He talked about some fascinating stuff. He said him and the brother will be the two most studied humans on the planet.

One of the main reasons he was chosen. That and the fact he was sort of being punished for an undisclosed reason.
