Not a great choice of hotels in that area and no attractions other than the ballpark.

Wrigleyville is really cool. There just aren't many hotels (if any, now that I think of it) near there. If you can get a reasonably-priced AirBnB, that would work. Also, if you're staying for a week, it's better to be in River North, the Loop, or Streeterville (where all the hotels previously mentioned are) than it is to be in Lakeview/Wrigleyville. There's a lot more to do besides baseball and bars in the RN/Loop/Streeterville area.

The Lincoln Hotel in Lincoln Park is halfway in between. That's a damn cool hotel and has one of the best rooftop bars in America. Might be kind of expensive, though.
