Not sure about the reasoning behind #4 or if I agree with it. Is he saying not to get a pocket gun at all? You get a pocket gun because you can conceal them and carry them a lot easier than other options. I'd rather have any gun no matter how low powered, short on ammo, or crappy heavy trigger... than no gun at all in a gun fight.

I think he is just saying that you shouldn't compromise quality for an easier carry. Make adjustments and carry something that you know will be reliable if you need to use it.
