Ask her what you can do to help the situation for her. Maybe there are things you can take off her plate. Giving the kids their bath...doing the dishes...help with laundry. Take the initiative.

I do most of these things, I clean the house, cook supper, do all of my laundry all the time and the kids laundry about 80% of the time.

i'll be honest:

my first wife and i did not have sex that often because quite frankly, i was not in love with her and got married for a whole lot of incorrect reasons like i was 'saving her from a bad situation', 'felt sorry for her', etc.

yep. stupid as hell.

anyway, my new wife i am in love with and she is sexy as hell and my sex drive kicked into a new gear after we got together so 2 marriages and my situation couldn't be more different with how often we have sex and how much we desire each other.

You need to find a way for a family member to watch the kiddos for 3-5 days minimum...take her on a vacation... Seduce her all over again. DON'T GET HER PREGNANT AGAIN ON THE VACATION.

Something is wrong then. Time to lay it all out for her.

I'm not trying to be a dick her but between her not doing the things you mentioned or enjoying sex what purpose exactly does your wife serve? It does sound like she is depressed.

What were things like before the stress of "real" jobs, house issues/chores, kids etc.?? If her sex drive was normal or better then, I would recommend her to see her doctor about medications, possibly, that she can take to help.

Holy frick dude. Its time to have some conversations and possibly make some tough decisions.

I handled my situation much like Yellowfin: I'm having sex 2-3 times a week with you or someone else. We've been married 20 years this June and have two kids.

You need to sit down and have a serious discussion with your wife. Sex is an important part of a happy marriage. You can't help but feel more emotionally connected to your spouse when you are having sex with them on a regular basis.

Sounds like she has been able to get her way too much too long. I'd quit all that and act like you want and see how she responds. Women like to be needed, makes them feel important and in control.
