I'd be fine with a new AD, I just don't think people realize what ADs actually do and how they measure success. Be careful what you wish for. Our Athlet. Dpt. makes a TON of money and the smaller sports have improved a lot under Joe. We have arguably the best player in the country in all 3 major sports too.

I do not think Joe Alleva is some elite AD, I just think he gets blamed for fricking everything and gets credit for nothing.

He said we need an RPI below 80. Which we do and we need to win most of our games remaining to get that, which he insinuated. And we can't have any bad losses.
I really don't think it will matter with the committee. I think the best thing going for us is Ben Simmons. He is a huge draw.

He has a long track record of cutting the legs out from under coaches he doesn't like. Last year he made sure Chief didn't come back and then wouldn't let Miles hire Aranda, and now he's publicly making it easier for his compatriots on the selection committee to err on the side of leaving LSU out. This guy is all about himself and never about the university. He botched the Duke lacrosse thing, and has been botching everything he touches ever since.
He was forced to hire Jones, and didn't hire Miles so he wants them out. Meanwhile the women's bball team is in shambles, but that was his hire so she sticks around. This guy is a joke.
