Joe Alleva

How this jackass still has a job is mind boggling, but unfortunately, a true testament to how things are done in Louisiana.

Say what you want about Alleva, but he had Jimbo signed, sealed, ready to deliver and he got his legs cut out from underneath him at the last minute by Alexander. If I was Joe I wouldn't give 2 shits about making hard decisions anymore, because obviously Alexander and JBE are going to lean over his shoulder anyway.

I guess this is gonna magically become rant fact as more time passes. Jimbo wasn't coming here. He flirted with LSU to make himself more valuable like every coach does at some point. The budget crisis line was partially true and partially a cover for the fact that LSU would have had to hire someone else and it would have looked like a colossal failure. I'm not saying that is particularly Joe's fault, I don't think he could have done much differently, but if Jimbo wanted to be the HC at LSU then he would be right now.
