Steve Dalkowski. He was probably special needs, and never got the attention he needed. Maybe the hardest thrower in baseball history (Nuke Laloosh from Bull Durham is sort of based off of him).
David Thompson. Michael Jordan described him as his hero. The NBA lost a generation to cocaine, but Thompson was the biggest casualty.
