I wouldn't have a cart unless it was 4x4. That's about the easiest option to say that I would or wouldn't want on a golf cart. That being said, I use mine to hunt as well as patrol the hood. If it wasn't for 4x4, I would have been stuck many many times.
Now if you just want to visit your neighbors on it then stick to the 2x4 and be done
Yea but where you in a situation where you had to be where you were or was it just an "experiment" to see what your buggy could or couldn't do? We mainly use buggy's to shoot and they are all 2x4's and have never had any issues.

Absolutely not. I have to go through a hilly area to my stand. If the ground is wet, the tires will spin out in 2x4 mode. One thing about a hunting cart.... don't take it through the bad nasty stuff ( deep mud) or it just won't last. Also, I have been in wet sand and would have been stuck if not for 4x4. That saved a 3 mile walk. Trust me, I have had my Stealth for 5 years or so and used the 4x4 on it more than my pick up. It's 100% a difference maker. I have rode the lifted 2x4 carts and it's a joke to compare the two.
