re: Why is it ok for Sunshine Pages to throw books in yards?

So I did some quick digging. Apparently, the "unsolicited delivery" of newspapers is constitutionally protected. See link:

In addition, newspapers are expressly excluded from the definition of litter under the Louisiana revised statutes.

However, the fact that the practice is constitutionally protected basically just means that the municipalities and state cannot pass laws restricted a company's ability to distribute them. It does not eliminate an individual's private right of action for nuisance/trespass/etc. Also, just because something is not "litter" doesn't mean those fricks can stick it on my lawn. Accordingly, my plan is sound. Who's in?
