IMO there's a difference between using championships to determine who had a better career vs using them to determine who was a better player. I think most would agree they would rather have the career that included a championship, but said championship doesn't mean they are automatically a better player

To use an overused comparison, most would say they would rather have the accomplishments of Trent Dilfer over Dan Marino since he was able to win the championship that Marino never did, but nobody in their right mind would argue that made Trent Dilfer a better player
