If LSU goes 2-0 this week... Ranked?

If LSU wins against a ranked South Carolina team on the road and beats #15 Texas A&M at home, is it a lock that LSU will be ranked in the Top25 next week?

Think if we beat A&M we'll be ranked regardless of tonight.

Yeah they'd be ranked. But that's the only way. Split and they won't be ranked.

Agree, but it's pretty embarrassing having the number 1 player in the nation on your team and not having a number next to your name when you're playing on ESPN

They were like 30 something in the polls so if they beat the 2 best teams and get a nice lead in the conference they should. Duke beating a Louisville the other day probably helped get them ranked again

the AP wants to rank Simmons badly.
regardless, we will most certainly be ranked in both polls when we win both games. Likewise, AP will have us 5-6 places higher.

no, not literally. A few years ago, Hill said that people hated Duke because they had a lot of really good white players.
And, the other day, Jay Williams said, "no other black player from any other school is hated as much as a white player from Duke.''

I was alluding to JJ's comments about LSU being ranked if they wore different colors. He chose to make that comment the week Duke isn't ranked for the first time in years.

Unfortunately, we would still have more losses than anyone else in the top 25 (as of today).

I believe we need to go 2-0 this week. It would be different if A&M was in the top 5 then maybe. But I don't see us getting into the Top 25 with a loss tonight and a win vs A&M
