I think we are more than fine on the D line, whats your take on that
We have a lot of potential. Not sure if we have enough size to play a true NT, but Aranda's defense is relatively unconventional in the way he sets alignments. He doesn't play a lot of 2 gap tackle - at least he didn't at Wisconsin. I think the secret weapon here is Orgeron. As I see it, though, only Alexander, the freshman is a true fit at NT. Lacatoure and Godchaux are more athletic and just don't have enough/low enough center of gravity. Godchaux may end up on the end in a 3-4. Ditto for Frank Herron.

Yeah, I don't think Aranda will ever run a "bama" or "traditional" 34... I think Aranda wants to use an attacking fast 1 gap 34, I wouldn't be surprised if Aranda never has a 2gap NT, people may not want to hear this but I think Aranda plays the 34 the way Chavis played the 43.... There are a ton of moving parts to this...I think this off season is the most interesting offseason for LSU in a long time. I will say this, because of the way Chavis recruited, it will be an easier transition to Aranda
