Not impressed with Moffit results lately. Seems like we got pushed around pretty good the last couple of years by the heart of our schedule in the West. Even Chavis' last season the defense was pushed around. The ranking and stats for that defense two seasons ago were mostly built off of beating up the lower level OOC teams like Sam Houston State on the schedule. Wisconsin offense was not good the first game we played that year either.

I have been wondering the same here but I came to the conclusion you can only hang so much meat on a frame. I think we have gotten most of that out of the guys we have developed but recently we have been playing guys as frosh and sophs who are still not physically maxed out.

I saw an article a couple of yrs back that when we played Oregon we shaved 10-15 lbs off our d-line for speed and mostly endurance and for that group it worked out well. The guys who came behind that 2011-12 group have not fared as well with it.

I see us now going back to a bigger DL with Orgeron coaching that group. As for 260 lb DE's please remember that Tyson Jackson played DE at 300 lbs. I would be happy with some Damarcus Ware types if they play like him... 6'4" 260 lbs.
